FONEO is a nonprofit organization “Association loi 1901” operating in France and Europe since 1996.
It’s mission is to contribute to the innovation of Opera.
The specific objectives of FONEO are :
To provide funding, work place, production facilities for young European creators and performers where
they are invited to try out their ideas and to take risk during the creative process.
Produce, stage and distribute new operas.
Encourage the confrontation between different styles of contemporary music theatre.
Revisit the the traditional repertoire through the experiences of contemporary theatre.
Create a european network to develop, produce and stage new operas.

Each year the Forum will offer creators, performers and technicians residency in Pontlevoy with the opportunity to present their new work to public.
